Nogomet

Nogomet, known as football or soccer in various parts of the world, is a team sport played between two teams of eleven players. It is the most popular sport globally, governed by the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA). The objective of the game is to score goals by getting a spherical ball into the opposing team’s net, primarily using the feet, but also allowing other body parts except the hands and arms—except for the goalkeeper, who can use their hands within the penalty area. The sport is played on a rectangular field, typically grass or artificial turf, with goals at either end. The game consists of two halves, each lasting 45 minutes, with a halftime break. Nogomet emphasizes teamwork, strategy, and physical fitness, making it a key component of sports culture in many countries.
