Politics

Politics refers to the activities, actions, and policies used to gain and hold power in a government or to influence the distribution of power either within a government or among governments. It encompasses the processes of decision-making, debate, and negotiation that occur in public life, as well as the structures and institutions through which these activities are organized, such as legislatures, political parties, and electoral systems. Politics is concerned with the organization of society, governance, and the mechanisms by which communities make collective decisions and resolve conflicts. It can also include the study of political behavior, ideologies, and the influences of power and authority on human interactions. Political theories and practices often shape individual and group identities, and can affect various aspects of society, including economics, environment, and social relationships.
