Geopolitics

Geopolitics is the study of the effects of geography (human and physical) on international politics and international relations. It examines how geographical factors, such as location, resources, climate, and population distribution, influence political power dynamics, state behavior, and global interactions. Geopolitics often involves the analysis of territory, borders, and the strategic significance of specific regions, as well as the impacts of physical landscapes such as mountains, rivers, and seas on political decisions. It intertwines with concepts of strategy, power projection, and the role of nations and non-state actors in shaping global affairs.
